Envirawood Warranty

ENVIRAWOOD expressly warrants that for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase all ENVIRAWOOD products as manufactured by ENVIRAWOOD will be reasonably free of defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is extended only to original purchases from authorized dealers and/or distributors and is non-transferable. Due to the variety of uses and applications to which ENVIRAWOOD products may be applied to, ENVIRAWOOD CAN MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THIS PRODUCT IS SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND CAN MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OTHER THAN THOSE SET FORTH HEREIN.

ENVIRAWOOD products covered under this warranty are warranted for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase to:

  • Be free from substantial defects in material and workmanship.
  • Not, rot, rust, corrode or require painting or refinishing.

ENVIRAWOOD will at its option, upon documentation and verification of failure, repair or replace the ENVIRAWOOD product without charge, if the herein referenced product fails due to the above defects or, at the option of ENVIRAWOOD refund the purchase price to the authorized dealers and/or distributors. This warranty does not include labor costs or any miscellaneous costs for removal and/or replacement.

This warranty applies only to ENVIRAWOOD products when properly stored, handled and fabricated will conform, within accepted tolerance, to applicable manufacturing specifications. The warranty does not cover defects caused by:

  • Improper installation, storage, handling and/or fabrication (non-conformance with recognized standards of construction and/or non-conformance to ENVIRAWOOD specifications.
  • Failure due to any adhesive, caulk or other accessory.
  • Damage (not resulting from defects) while in possession of the Customer.
  • Unreasonable use (including failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance). Damage or loss due to improper storage and other catastrophic events such as fire, hurricane and flood.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN OR IN ENVIRAWOOD WARRANTY DOCUMENTS WITH RESPECT TO AN ENVIRAWOOD PRODUCT ARE THE ONLY WARRANTIES MADE BY ENVIRAWOOD IN CONNECTION WITH THESE PRODUCTS, AND ARE EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ENVIRAWOOD PRODUCTS SOLD BY ENVIRAWOOD ARE SOLD ONLY TO THE SPECIFICATIONS SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH BY ENVIRAWOOD IN WRITING. ENVIRAWOOD’S SOLE OBLIGATION FOR A REMEDY TO BUYER SHALL BE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS, OR AT THE OPTION OF ENVIRAWOOD RETURN OF THE PRODUCT AND REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE. BUYER ASSUMES ALL RISK WHATSOEVER AS TO THE RESULT OF THE USE OF THE ENVIRAWOOD PRODUCTS PURCHASED, WHETHER USED SINGLY OR IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER SUBSTANCES.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

No claim by buyer of any kind, including claims for indemnification, whether as to quality or amount of products delivered or for non-delivery of products, shall be greater in amount than the purchase price of the products in respect of which damages are claimed. IN NO EVENT SHALL ENVIRAWOOD BE LIABLE TO BUYER FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, RELIANCE, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR COVER, OR LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE OR USE IN CONNECTION WITH, ARISING OUT OF, OR AS A RESULT OF, THE SALE, DELIVERY, SERVICING, USE OR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD HEREUNDER, OR FOR ANY LIABILITY OF BUYER TO ANY THIRD PARTY WITH RESPECT THERETO. BUYER SHALL INSPECT FOR NONCONFORMITY PROMPTLY UPON RECEIPT. Failure by buyer to give ENVIRAWOOD written notice of claim within 30 days from date of delivery or, in the case of non-delivery from the date fixed for delivery, shall constitute a waiver by buyer of all claims in respect of such products.

This limited warranty gives the purchaser of ENVIRAWOOD products specific legal rights. Other rights may be available which vary from state to state.

Any information or suggestion concerning application, specifications or compliances with codes and standards is provided solely for your convenient reference and without any representation as to accuracy or suitability. ENVIRAWOOD disclaims any legal responsibility. The user must verify and test the suitability of any information or products for their own particular purpose of specific application.

Envirawood Maintenance

Cleaning & Polishing

There are many conventional cleaning and polishing products that can be used on ENVIRAWOOD, but to achieve the ultimate shine and to reduce smudges we suggest using Nano Power Finish which is distributed by CTA Products.

We also recommend 3M #09033 Marine Clean and Shine Spray Wax. Simply spray on the surface and wipe off using
a 3M #26224 Scotch-Brite High Performance Cloth.

Repair and Replacement

No different than expensive solid wood and wood veneer finishes, the Envirawood finishes can sooner or later get damaged. However, applied finishes are far more vulnerable to damage under normal wear and tear conditions than the Envirawood finishes therefore ours require considerably less maintenance.

Repairing damaged sections or entire components in solid wood and wood veneers can be extremely difficult and very expensive depending on the type and extent of the damage. Replacement is even more of a challenge since no two trees are exactly the same. An exact or acceptable match is virtually impossible to achieve due to the variations in grain, color and the unavoidable aging of solid wood and wood veneer caused by exposure to indirect light or even worse, direct sunlight.

Since Envirawood finishes can also be damaged we strongly recommend replacing the damaged area using a new and readily available prefinished Envirawood veneer sheet, panel or component. This is definitely the most cost-effective, permanent and visually appealing repair solution. Unlike natural wood and wood veneer replacements the grain and color match of the new Envirawood veneer sheet or component will be an exact match to the original. Obviously, a major advantage this innovative, man-made veneer product offers and why we strongly recommend replacement over the repair of a visibly damaged area.
